AI Disclosure

This page explains where Clovord uses artificial intelligence (AI), so you can tell human-made product experiences apart from AI-assisted assets. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.

Summary

Clovord is a communication platform built and operated by people. We use AI tools in a limited way — mainly to create or refine some visual assets (for example marketing or in-product imagery). We do not run an AI chatbot that reads your private messages as a core product feature, and we do not use AI alone to ban accounts or make other decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you.

AI-generated or AI-assisted images

  • Some images you see on Clovord websites, landing pages, help materials, or in-product surfaces may be created or edited with generative AI image tools.
  • Those assets are produced by Clovord (or our contractors) for illustration, branding, or design. They are not photographs of real users unless we say otherwise.
  • AI image tools may be used offline or in our design workflow. Your chat content is not sent to an image model just because you use Clovord.
  • If a future feature lets you generate images inside the product, we will describe that feature here and in the Privacy Policy before or when it launches, including what inputs are processed.

What we do not use AI for (today)

  • Automated decisions that solely determine access to your account, payments, or legal rights without human involvement (GDPR Art. 22-style profiling).
  • Training public AI models on your private messages or files.
  • An always-on AI assistant that monitors your DMs or voice by default.

Human moderators and safety systems may still review content you or others report, as described in the Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines.

Providers and personal data

When we use third-party AI tools to generate images for Clovord, we do not upload your personal account data, messages, or files as prompts for those marketing/design assets. Prompts are created by our team (for example style or scene descriptions). If that ever changes for a user-facing feature, we will update this disclosure and the Privacy Policy, name the processing role, and obtain any consent the law requires.

Your rights

AI use does not reduce your privacy rights. You can still access, correct, delete, or object to processing of your personal data as set out in the Privacy Policy, and complain to the ICO or an EU supervisory authority.
